CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
INTRO TO IRISH DANCE 5-day Camp

Ages 3-5 Monday-Friday, July 11-15, 9:00-10:00am $125 for week

Ages 6+ Monday-Friday, July 18-22, 9:00-10:00am $125 for week
This camp is for those new to Irish Dance. Campers are to wear athletic clothes and socks. Bring a water bottle.
- learn how to Irish dance This summer! Your dancer will learn proper posture, basic beginner steps, and correct foot placement. We will learn some age-related Irish dance history and make dance-related crafts. A showcase of what campers learned throughout the week will be performed for parents/guardians on Friday of camp week at 9:50.
Campers will be able to register for our Beginner II class in the fall and will have their registration fee waived for 2022.
BEGINNER I+II 5-day Camp

Monday-Friday, July 11-15, 10:00-11:00am $125 for week
This camp is for those who are currently enrolled in AIDA's Beginner II class. Campers are to wear athletic clothes and dance shoes. Bring a water bottle.
- Campers will increase their hardshoe knowledge and begin learning their first set dance. Softshoe steps will be updated and fun crafts will be made!
CEILI CAMP 5-day Camp

Monday-Friday, July 18-22, 10:00-11:30am $180 for week
This camp is for those who are currently enrolled in AIDA's Beginner II class or higher. Dancers must be able to dance hop 23s forward and backward and sidesteps in both directions. Dancers must wear softshoes. Bring a water bottle.

SET DANCE+TREBLE CAMP 5-day Camp

Monday-Friday, July 11-15, 11:00-12:30 $180 for week
This camp is for those who are currently enrolled in AIDA's Adv. Beg class or higher. Dancers must be able to dance both fast speed hardshoe dances (hornpipe and treble jig). Dancers must wear hardshoes. Bring a water bottle.
-We will learn several set dances and learn several intermediate level treble reel steps in this camp. Since set dances and treble reel steps aren't generally taught in AIDA weekly classes, this summer camp is a great choice for dancers wanting to expand their Irish Dance knowledge!
NOTE: In accordance with An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha rules, you may not take our dance camp if you are currently dancing for another CLRG-certified Irish Dance school.
